Guest guest
namah sivaya, i cannot remember who was asking about daily practice but i thought i'd pipe in. until recently, my daily practice was to chant the 1000 names of lalita (lalita sahasranama). i kind of fell off the wagon of consistency of late with many changes happening in my life but am about to re-establish my routine. interchangeably sometimes i chant the sri suktam and the khadgamala stotram or navaratna with kumkum. i participate in the prayer club on sundays and i chant the mmm (maha mrutyunjaya mantra) then. hope this helps. egyirba -- "Naan Amme Snehikkunnu" Be Love, Egyirba -=-=- .... Guest guest
Hi Egyirba, Has somebody initiated you into the Khadgamala? I would love to do that too, and I have a copy of the stotram, but I have heard conflicting reports on the initiation part (Shakti Sadhana writeup says "no need" because it's a stotram only, some other SriVidya upasaks say you need SriVidya initiation. hence the conflict. I regard Amma as Lalitamba Herself (a.k.a. SriVidya), but I did not get a chance to ask Her this November if I can recite this delightful stotram, hence my delay in starting this. Any help/info from anyone on this list (Kochu Sir? anyone else?) will be greatly appreciated. Jai Ma!
