Guest guest Posted January 6, 2006 Report Share Posted January 6, 2006 Jay Ma This is in regards to predictions concerning 2006 , someone mentioned Sri Karunamayi predicting Dec 26 as doom day , I am Sri Karunamayi Devotee and am not aware of Amma saying anything about that date , She only gives guidance for 2006 planetary influences as they are not auspicious for some rasi signs and nakshatras , the information can be obtained from karunamayi.org in section latest news ( Kalasarpa dosha) . Second nothing is written in cards that is meant to stay unchangeable eternally , through prayer and grace fate of disasters can be altered , Ammachi says so also through prayers the impact of tragedy can be much alleviated. Both Amma's predictions are very precise however they should never be thought of as fortune tellers. They only give us hints because they see the bigger picture. I said that if I was recalling correctly, I remembered seeing mention of the date on her website. I’m not very familiar with Karunamayi, but someone had posted a link to the section you are referring to in your post below, and I recalled reading the information there. I also agree with you about predictions or things foretold as being static. If I did not, then I believe I would be discounting the power of prayer and God.
