Guest guest Posted January 5, 2006 Report Share Posted January 5, 2006 Namah Shivaya, The question about collective karma reminds me of a story we had to read in high school called "The Bridge of San Louis Rey" which was about people who were on a foot bridge when it collapsed It followed each individual on that day and how they happened to be on the bridge at the same time. At about the same time I was in a car accident in which my best friend was killed - she asked me to change seats with her, 5 minutes later we crashed and she died and I lived. really made me think about things, along with a very strong case of survivors guilt. And IMHO, if the Divine Mother of the universe wills it, and untold numbers of people are praying it makes sense that the future can be changed. My sister and I were talking last night about how this poor planet is being so polluted all over the world by humans. It is small wonder that these awful catastrophes are happening. So we have to treat Bhu Devi well, and pray for Her well being and the well being of all of Her inhabitants.
