Just a little twist on the family thing

My sister is visiting her grown kids for the holidays. The other day she

said "it's just like when they were teenagers,

they say things that hurt my feelings all the time. They relegate me to

the back seat of the car. They say, if anything happens to

Dad, Mom, don't worry, you can come live with us" She went on to say

that she could never do that because she

would have her feelings hurt all the time, etc.

My sister can be overly sensitive, but we have been looking at the

family issue from primarily the viewpoint of

being the child. It really made me think that it goes both ways!
