Guest guest
OM NAMAH SIVAYA i saw this quote on a magnet and wanted to share it; Be Yourself there is something that you can do better than any other. Guest guest
Dear Eric: The part of the quote that drew my attention (pun is intended)was: "WHAT OTHERS THINK OF YOU IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS" I suffer from the disease IWANTEVERYONETOLIKEME-ITIS. Recently I felt snubbed by an Amma person. We were close early in 2005 and she now seems to avoid me. THIS IS NOT PLEASANT. Amma says all friends & family are going to get off the bus at different bus stops. Who will always be sitting next to me on that Eternal Transit Line? A-M-M-A!!!!! The above "Magnet" quote could be turned around to convey: "What my mischievous turbulent mind thinks with sadness about ANYTHING is the problem". If my friend was attentive toward me I would feel happy. This happiness though pleasant is artificial. Therefore I need to look at all thoughts (thought balloons let's puncture them HA HA) My new mantra is MIND MY BUSINESS!!! Guest guest
Dear Georgeson, I know what you mean by having “Iwanteveryontolikeme-it is”. I used to suffer from this GREATLY. I was always concerned with everyone always wanting to be near me, showing me they cared, always calling me, and so on. I’d act so differently around different people, because I knew that certain personalities would be more appealing to some, and behaving another way would be more in tune to a different friend. I’m not quite sure what finally got me to get over feeling that way, but I am thankful that it hit me in the face, LOL. Perhaps it had to do with reaching a point to where every one of these “friends” that I was aiming to please and satisfy turned on me, or got off the bus at the first or second stop… leaving me feeling like the lone passenger, at the rear of the vehicle. ¸..• ´¨¨)) -:¦:- ¸.•´ .•´¨¨)) ((¸¸.•´ ..•´ -:¦:- ..::Brightest Blessings::.. -:¦:- ((¸¸.•´.¸..•` ..::Bela::..
