You articulated this beautifully. I often feel that Amma is the greatest christmas/chanukah/kwanzaa gift imaginable. It seems unfortunate that Amma is available to those in my social network and that they would benefit from Amma immensely. Nevetheless if I remain a living example of this "benefit" perhaps some will try to discover what caused this imperfect yet slowly improving son's transformation. Perhaps it is all Divine Mothers will. Dunno. Namah Shivaya, GeorgeSon ________ DSL – Something to write home about. Just $16.99/mo. or less. dsl. Guest guest
Not only is it unfortunate that people reject the gift of Amma's presence, it is totally beyond my understanding. When I hear my biological family saying that they don't believe in God (any aspect of God/Goddess) and they don't believe in "life after death", it blows me away. When someone asked Swami Satyananda Saraswati why people in the West were turning to Eastern spiritual practices, he said "because it is the only game in town." That's the way I feel about my spiritual life in general. If I weren't here to receive and give Divine Love, why did I come?
