There have been times when Mother made it very obvious that She wanted me to touch Her feet. Other times I would grope the cushion under Her feet feeling for them and She would move them for me to touch. What a Mother! To sit there hour after hour leaning over hugging person after person, with people hugging Her too tightly and groping for Her feet - giving no thought to Her own well being. Remember the Paul Simon song , something about my mother loves me like a rock? It gives it new meaning. I don't think that we have any idea how much She loves us.
