All planets which can have > malefic effects. > > FWIW, the "other" Amma, Karunamayi also sees some dark clouds: Currently, a certain kind of inauspicious planetary configuration is in effect. This is known as a "Kalasarpa dosha," and it affects individuals who have certain rasis (Vedic moon sign) or nakshatras (Vedic birth star). A news item has been posted containing information about the timing of the Kalasarpa dosha, individual actions that can be taken to mitigate its effects, and pujas that can be sponsored to reduce the negativity of the Kalasarpa dosha. In addition, due to the current inauspicious energy, all people--regardless of their rasi or nakshatra--are advised to postpone any new projects or undertakings until after January 16, 2006. Guest guest
Thanks muchly for this, Mike~ As always, these classically malefic configurations offer the opportunity to break loose from our habitual patterns. Guest guest
Mahatamas dire predictions have confounded us since the time of Jesus who warned of an impeding doom. Mahatmas words however should not be taken quite literally, they view their time on earth as very short(unlike us for whom it's an eternity) and the work to be done as colossus when faced with devotees like us who are in deep slumber. So out of pure compassion they utter these words to wake us up & do something with our lives. P.S These are words paraphrased based upon my understanding of a Guru's words who himself had warned of AIDS wiping out half the planet(which I viewed with incredulity) & was later put in perspective by the above words in another talk
