It is so interesting, Amarnath, that you posted this quote because this is very much what I experienced when I listened to the Sri Lalitha Sahasranama (Big Swami pronounces Sanskrit very different from Swami Satyanada Saraswati, so I had trouble following along with the archana book, much less reciting along). So eventually, I just closed my eyes and just let Swami's chanting of the names come into me. It all felt very natural. I went into a very deep meditative state ... and in there what Mother says above is very true ... no likes/dislikes, no love/hate, no "needs" of any kind. When I came back to my everyday consciousness, I felt more peace than I have felt in a very long time. Jai Ma ~ Linda P.S. I think if I keep doing this, eventually I will get used to Big Swami's pronunciation and will be able to chant along
