Guest guest
Namaste to Everyone, At the beginning of program there was a guided meditation led my Swamiji. It was a little different from the previous ones. It went something like this( words in () were added as this was written ) : "I forgive and forget the mistakes of others including all my enemies. (Please Mother fill me with your Love and Healing Light). On inhalation, breathe in "Ma" feeling the energy in head and crown chakra ( top of head ). On exhalation, feel peace, (relaxation, letting go and healing ). Then, imagine( feel ) every cell of your body vibrating with golden (healing) light." Perhaps some one has a more accurate version of this. This is how it felt to me. om hrim namah sivaya, amarnath

Guest guest
Sorry for the blank messsage. Thanks, Amarnath for this description of the "New" MA OM meditation. I'll send it on to the inmates who found the MA OM helpful to them. Sometimes it is good to have something new in the meditation. We can get tired of it sometimes and stop meditating without some way to refresh the practice. I have not seen Roy Eugene Davis's meditation book but I' sure it is good. Ram Dass has one also--not BE HERE NOW, but one specifically dedicated to the practice of meditation. I have given that book to various people who suddenly wanted to meditate and did not come from a tradition which included meditation. A book intended for prisoners by Bo Lozoff called WE'RE ALL DOING TIME not only gives clear directions for the would be meditator but includes stories which are very inspiring and encouraging. It also has loads of prisoner art inside. Aikya Ammachi, "amarnath" <anatol_zinc> wrote: > > > Namaste to Everyone, > > At the beginning of program there was a guided meditation led my > Swamiji. Guest guest
Namah Shivaya. The new words Swamiji used in the Ma Om meditation included words about letting go of anger, jealousy and hatred. pr > > Namaste to Everyone, > > At the beginning of program there was a guided meditation led my > Swamiji.
