Guest guest
Namaste Dear Temba, Welcome and thank you for all allowing Amma's Love and knowledge to come through your writing to us. Perhaps some would not consider prison time very dharmic. And yet what could be more dharmic than to read the 9 volumes of "Awaken Children" two/three times? I wonder how many other of Amma's devotees have been able to do so? I feel the essence of Amma's teaching on ego and the need to eventually come to grips with it one way or the other come through you. This message( no matter how gentle ) obviously will have a reaction from other egos. I feel you struggling wonderfully to balance Amma's Love flowing through you, the no-nonsense alertness needed to watch the egos( yours and ours ) do their thing, to balance it out( without losing the essence of Love ) and to communicate in a sensitive way. May Amma's Grace always fow through you. Amma's message comes at us from many angles. Here is one from our brother Nandu : Nandu wrote: I had a good time in San Ramon and MI. .... In San Ramon, one person asked, "Who am I? Where did I come from? Where am I going? Why am I here?" Amma said, "You are nobody -- NO BODY. You are the changeless Atman, the Self. You came out of nothingness. And you are going nowhere, you are still. The first twenty years of a man's life, his parents ask him, 'Where are you going?' The next forty years, it is his wife who asks him, 'And where are you off to?' And after his death, the mourners ask, 'Where did he go?' "Your purpose in coming here is to ask these questions. And to do some good to others until the question of your purpose goes away." The man smiled gratefully at the answers. Please do not discard Amma's answer simply by saying it was meant for someone else. My feeling is it is TIMELY for all of us : Amma : "Your purpose in coming here is to ask these questions. And to do some good to others until the question of your purpose goes away." namah sivaya, amarnath

Guest guest
the beautiful thing about reading AMMAs books is that you have no choice but to read with your heart.you really have to.this is AMMAs son experience.if your heart is not open you will not have the desire to read AMMAs books anyway.and also AMMAs words bring you into your heart with no effort.AWAKEN CHILDRENS AND THE OTHER AMMA books are sacred and priceless.IF YOU READ THEM,a lot of the questions that you have will be answered.you will have no choice but to EXPAND.IT WILL HAPPEN ON ITS ON ACCORD.ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS READ WITH THE ATTITUDE THAT MOTHER IS SPEAKING DIRECTLY TO YOU .AFTER YOU READ AMMAs books if you have any other spirituall writings and then go to read them, you will read them with much greater AWARENESS,which AMMA SAYS IS MOST IMPORTANT.namah shivaya >"amarnath" <anatol_zinc >Ammachi >Ammachi > Welcome Temba ! >Thu, 08 Dec 2005 19:04:16 -0000 > >Namaste Dear Temba, > >Welcome and thank you for all allowing Amma's Love and knowledge to >come through your writing to us. > >Perhaps some would not consider prison time very dharmic.
