Guest guest
This child of Amma feels that ultimately, we must realize that maya is suffering and this world is suffering. There are many people, and organizations dealing with these issues. Bringing awareness to these issues. It would be good to join, participate in, and discuss with those in these organizations. This list however is to focus on the higher, ultimate purpose of spirituality, which ultimately benefits all of this. Compassion and love on the practical level are very important, but again, this world is suffering. Our spiritual practices, meditations, and spiritual growth I feel help raise the global consciousness of the planet Earth therefore affect ALL of these issues though on a different level. We are getting there, we are coming along, look at how we are doing compared to the Dark Ages when people were suffering constantly, or slavery was widespread and common. But the Earth overall is still not at the level we would like to see, or abiding by the dharma we would like to see. However, things are getting better, and looking up. But as is often said, our material comforts have increased, but our spiritual focus has decreased so it is a double edged sword. Guest guest
I agree....material comforts are necessary, but the focus is on higher awareness of love, and this has to involve self restraint and control of the senses Ammachi, "D" <dises05@c...> wrote: > > This child of Amma feels that ultimately, we must realize that maya is suffering and this world is suffering.
