It is God who creates the sorrows and obstacles in a seeker¹s life. God employs selfish people as instruments to make the seeker suffer. A truly spiritual person views suffering as a blessing‹a bridge to God. Without suffering spiritual realization is impossible. Those who suffer cry more intensely to God, creating a bridge for God to cross over.
