Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, We are limited by language, somewhat, and "I", "mine", "you". It is for the sake of convenience that we use these pronouns and adjectives, etc.. Otherwise it would be mighty confusing. Plus there is the fact that I, this person, certainly very much has ego, a sense of separation, as much as I wish I didn't. Then I would be one with Mother, which I wouldn't mind at all, but then "I" wouldn't be around to care.In the meantime, language is one of the best means of communication, as far as I know, so personal pronouns come in handy. But then, Temba, I understand what you are saying of giving with expectation. That's why Mother emphasizes selfless service. My guess is that most people do seva because it makes them feel closer to the divine. I do believe that is one reason we are encouraged to dedicate our work, be it scrubbing floors or whatever, to God. It helps US focus on the divine. As Mother says, God doesn't need our help. When I used to work with kids, I used to feel that I often learned more from them, than them from me. It was a neat feeling. It's all about the connection between people. When that connection happens we are closer to feeling at one with each other. Jai Ma! Guest guest
thankyou for sharing this my sister .you have through AMMAs grace helped to increase MOTHERS sons awareness.when MOTHERS son ran across this info. in AWAKEN CHILDREN,he was like wow!another level of awareness.its just witnessing yourself on another level.its learning to watch the expectation so that it can be dealt with, therefoe the connection with each other can be deeper.this is something that he learned from MOTHER TEACHINGS and JESUS as well.its not about communiaction.its more about being more aware of the SUBLTE EGO.and also when MOTHERS son is speaking to you ,he is speaking to himself.your comments help him to grow.thankyou my dear sister and daughter of AMMA. >Prasadini <ganesh1008 >Ammachi >Ammachi >Re: Re: To Temba and Linda on "i", "mine" etc. >Sun, 04 Dec 2005 18:36:31 -0800 > >Namah Shivaya, >We are limited by language, somewhat, and "I", "mine", "you".
