Vote for Amma as Most Inspiring Person of the Year

 

 

On the Beliefnet website, Amma is a finalist in their Most Inspiring

Person of the Year election. It looks like you cannot vote for her

everyday (for instance, not today) but must keep coming back to do so.

It appears that this message was posted too late. The way the voting works is

that people

vote for one of two candidates each day until only three are left and then

Beliefnet chooses

among those. Before we'd heard about this, Amma had already lost out to Bono.

 

(There is something sort of funny about that, though! ;-)

I don't even know who Bono is. It's rather surreal to have Amma

"lose" to anyone.

Bono is the lead singer of the Irish rock group, U2, that's been around since

maybe the early 80's. More people simply know about Bono than Amma. It would

be totally cool for Bono to meet Amma.
