Yes, the details of what we went through were very different, but we both had similar feelings and a desire for the same thing, as you said ~ Love. It amazes me that you can look back on your life and say that the inner Amma helped you forgive your mother. To have that realization, that Mother was working in your heart, even before you knew of Her ~ that is an incredible blessing. Also, like you, the abuse I went through made me more empathetic to others in all types of circumstances, but especially those who were suffering for some reason. So I have always believed that there was a positive within the seeming negative because this empathy has created a lot of positiveness, wonder and love in my life. I like what you said about being installed in each other's hearts. I can feel that. And that is what Amma wants for us ~ for Her to be installed in our hearts.
