Guest guest
What you wrote is so true. Darshans can be immensely special. But, during this tour, part of Amma's lesson for me was about giving. It seemed that I often, in some way, got more of what I wanted from serving, rather than from seeking Her darshan. even if someone left without getting an actual hug, just being in AMMAs incarnated presence means that they got darshan.they got something just to behold HER form and see HER HUG OTHERS.that to me is an awsome contemplation.namah shivaya. Guest guest
giving and recieving with an open heart is two sides of the same coin.namah shivaya.even in you saying that you put your attention on giving ,you still concluded by saying that you got more(recieved).AMMA says that where there is DIVINE LOVE the two disapear and there is only one. >Sweta Mitzel <swetabc >Ammachi >ammachi > to Themba on darshan >Sat, 3 Dec 2005 08:28:31 -0800 (PST) > > What you wrote is so true. Guest guest
the more of what "I" wanted is what keeps us in bondage."I got more from giving".so now we may begin to give in order to recieve more, instead of just giving only for the joy of giving with no expectation of recieving anything in return.we may think. "oh yeah if i do seva,(which is giving)this may get me closer to AMMA etc.when we do seva with an open heart and the right awaweness we are closer to AMMA THEN WE MAY REALIZE.this can be found in any AWAKEN CHILDREN BOOK and can also be realized through contemplation.you have reminded MOTHERS son so much about himself in you making this statement.namah shivaya.sometimes when AMMAS son begins to work on these seva projects, the sublte ego as AMMA CALLS IT, CREEPS IN AND he forgets to let go of the result of the seva that is being performed .AMMA SAYS THAT THOUGH WE SHOULD KEEP STRIVING FOR THE GOAL OF LIBERATION,WE SHOULD DETACH FROM IT MENTALLY AND JUST CONTINUE IN OUR PRACTICE.EVEN IN STRIVING FOR LIBERATION WE CAN END UP IN BONDAGE IF WE DONT STAY AWARE OF THE SUBTLE EGO.with all love, your brother timba >Sweta Mitzel <swetabc >Ammachi >ammachi > to Themba on darshan >Sat, 3 Dec 2005 08:28:31 -0800 (PST) > > What you wrote is so true.
