Guest guest
As many of you know, I am a survivor of severe abuse. I have been in therapy for some time. I recently began some work that deals with dissociative personalities inside - I am talking publicly to you, my brothers and sisters because I don't want to be a secret anymore. One of the biggest challenges in my life has been keeping secrets and I don't want to do this anymore. So for those who have not been abused, my work is about learning all the different ways I devised to survive abuse - the different personalities that were formed to deal with bad situations. Since I have been with Amma, She has provided people in my life that have saved my earthly life yet again. I am sharing this with you - my work and play with Amma. The personalities (my tribe)inside all have names - like Poorme, Bette, Newborn, Playdumb, Liar, Thief, Mary Jean, Worker, etc. Kali Yaga the Wolf is the leader of my tribe. My tribe members are also known as constructs. - Here is what happened at the Michigan retreat for us. I have been focusing on observing behaviors and needs of the constructs. During the retreat here in Michigan with Amma, I was all Worker most of the time. Worker is happy and tireless and very giving. On the first day that Amma came, Poor Me was clamoring for attention, saying how she had missed Amma and was so broken and needed Amma to pay attention to her. Kali Yaga (a wolf mother) listened carefully to her and said, "Come and lay on my soft furry belly and get warm. You are cold from being sad and giving your power away to depression and grief. Know that I am with you and Amma loves you all the time, even when you cry and moan and despair." Kali Yaga began to sing this lullaby. Come lay your head Here on the warm soft Belly of your Amma She is singing softly To you in sweet tones Comforting every nerve And stroking your tears From your cheek Come lay your head Here on the peaceful universe contained in Amma's arms, She Loves every cell of Your being. Sleep peacefully, Knowing you are Loved. Poorme cuddled with Kali Yaga and went to sleep. Soon others began to gather near Kali Yaga to get warm and feel Amma's love and grace. While Worker was working Newborn was carried gently to Kali Yaga's warm fur belly by Dancer and Afraid of Everything. The Poet announced that everyone was invited to the Haven to sit and be warm with Kali Yaga. As we all cuddled in together the warmth of Amma's love began to enfold us all. We sat and watched Amma with wonder. Om Namashivaya - In Amma's service, Supriti Omenka Nnadi

Guest guest
Dear Supriti Omenka Nnadi Thank you so much for deciding to share this beautiful experience on this list. It is nothing short of inspiring. It must take a lot of energy to deal with everything you are facing and that much more to make the decision to speak publicly. Much love and peace to you. Guest guest
Namah Shivaya Supriti, Thank you for sharing this. The very sad part of childhood abuse is that we can't just leave it behind and emerge into adulthood as intact, healthy people. We spend the first 18-20 years being abused and possibly the rest of our lives dealing with it, overcoming it. There have been so many amazing stories of Mothers healing in the past week or so. It's just miraculous. Once we know that Mother is living in our hearts, we can go there and cuddle up with Her any time we want. Again, thank you Pranams, Prasadini.
