Guest guest
*www.GiveMeTheMasterKey.com* One time I asked Mother, "How can I serve You?" (I hoped she would say something like, come on tour, come live at the ashram, leave worldy life, etc. No such luck!) She smiled so broadly, seemingly pleased, and caressed my cheek, replying "Do everything you do with the same love that you have for Mother." The nature of that Love -- so dynamic, so seemingly elusive --remains a profound mystery. But for Her telling me to "do" with such an attitude, may I always have gratitude. May we all have gratitude. much love, Prashanti

Guest guest
Thank you for this lovely post. I am doing some caregiving for the elderly in my "retirement," and it is such a joy to do each task with the thought that I am doing it for Amma. I, too, am very grateful. Guest guest
Namah Shivayah, Your post below really touched me. So many times, the feeling has occurred to me that we could never fully realize the scope of how blessed we are to have Amma in our lives. As I sat in the darshan hall one night last week, I said to a friend, "Do you have any idea the scope of what we are participating in and how blessed we are?" One day, maybe only hundreds of years from now...when I have left this body....someone will find my letters, little Hersheys Kiss wrappers, and photos of Amma and it will be so different then and so amazing to whoever finds them. Even thousands of years from now....all of our words may be found like we now find words of those who were close to Jesus, Krishna, Buddha, Ghandi. Every piece of prasad, every word, every moment spent in her presence, every memory from Amma is a treasure more precious than gold. When I think of all of those who do not even know the name Ammachi, all of those who will never be in the presence of her physical body, those who will never receive her darshan....I realize that we who are close to her are indeed such a miniscule percentage of the population on earth right now. How precious is that? It is up to us to spread her love throughout this world in every action, no matter how small. When I think on all of this....or I should say....when I "feel" on all of this, I am filled with tremendous gratitude. Your post echoed what I have been feeling all week. Thank you. Jai Ma! Guest guest
Amma's instructions below are profound, & when we take them to heart, I believe they'll be life chagning. While doing a seva, I ended up pretty much just opening a door. As I was feeling a bit useless, I remembered Mother Theresa's words. Something like, We eon't do great things in this life, only small things with great love. Then the door seva could take on a whole new dimension. > > "Do everything you do with the same love that you have for Mother." > > > > The nature of that Love -- so dynamic, so seemingly elusive --remains a > > profound mystery. Guest guest
The root of meditation is the Guru's form. The root of worship is the Guru's feet. The root of mantra is the Guru's words. The root of liberation is the Guru's grace. -- Guru Gita, Verse 76 Reminded by the story of a devotee in Michigan who found Amma had saved a seat for her at the "sandal spot," that we noticed in San Ramon that Mother's usual white Birkenstocks had been replaced with an offering of sky blue ones. much love, Prashanti

Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, I used to attend an ashram near Oakland, CA. There were quite a few African Americans who attended the ashram. I was not aware of racism, but then I'm white and maybe because I was not on the receiving end I missed it. Perhaps it also depends on where the ashram or spiritual community is. If it is in a racially mixed area, maybe there would be more minorities participating. And the same for predominately white areas.Just my thoughts.
