Guest guest
Namah Shivayah, Another tired daughter here ready to get some sleep. Michigan was amazingly beautiful, with so many amazing experiences with Mother. This was only my second Devi Bhava, and the most intense experience of my entire life. I was right in front and she was looking into my eyes, I felt as if I was being pulled by a wave so strongly that my body kept wanting to collapse and I had to be held up. I have never fainted in my life, and this was so strange because I was fighting not to lose consciousness. I saw her disappear COMPLETELY and then reappear and then disappear again......so hard to describe in words. I had heard stories similar to this, but never thought I would be lucky enough to experience anything like that. I am going to journal all of this sometime this week....it was all so much...all so beautiful.....I am reduced to tears of bliss....she melted my heart To all of those brothers and sisters I met, it was wonderful meeting you. Can someone tell me what the fast paced bhajan was at the very end of the night prior to Amma Amma Taye? Also there was a man and woman singing English Bhajans and their music was so beautiful. Is there a CD of their bhajans....in particular there was a song that spoke of "my heart is your temple" or something to that effect. Can anyone tell me the name of that song? Deleriously tired, humbled and in love.... Guest guest
Can someone tell me what the fast paced bhajan was at the very end of the night prior to Amma Amma Taye? I believe it was "Amrita Vahini", an "Amma" adaptation of a Kerala boat-racing song--or at least so Swamini Krishnamrita once told me. (Tay, tay, tay, tay, tay tay tum, tay tum, tikka tay tay tum, etc.) It starts on page 20 of volume 4 Songbook. Also there was a man and woman singing English Bhajans and their music was so beautiful. Is there a CD of their bhajans....in particular there was a song that spoke of "my heart is your temple" or something to that effect. Can anyone tell me the name of that song? I don't know the name of the song, but the group is Jaya, and they were selling a CD in the bookstore. I purchased one, but haven't played it yet. I enjoyed their music, too. Years ago, they had a tape one could purchase. Like most, I'm readjusting to another time zone and recovering from a long Devi Bhava. It's called Amrita Vahini. Go to http://www.amritapuri.org/amma/2005/509celebration.php and you'll actually hear it.
