Guest guest
Someone told me quite matter of factly that 6000 people were expected for Devi Bhava in San Ramon. Perhaps that is the number o tokens Amma authorized for the event. Does anyone know how many tokens were distributed? It did not seem like 6000 to me but more like 4500 to 5000. It was, after all, a week day, not a weekend as it usually is. If Amma had already prepared herself for 6000 but there were fewer, that might explain why she was going so slowly. From her point of view she had extra time. Ai
Guest guest
I know for sure that 5700 tokens were given out. Also the signs in the hall showed 5800 at the end. So pretty close to the expected number. --- Aikya Param <aikya wrote: > Someone told me quite matter of factly that 6000 > people were expected > for Devi Bhava in San Ramon. Guest guest
To me it didn't seem like 6000. Hmmm. I must be getting used to a crowd that size. Guest guest
We found the "end" of Devi Bhava in San Ramon particularly inspiring this time. So many baby blessings, a wedding or two, and then there was a Pada Puja and something else that was SO full of devotion and shakti... Mother looked so radiant, and then that little toddler was bopping and dancing in the front of center stage, keeping Devi with us that much longer (or so it seemed). Thank you Amma! love, Prashanti & Jeff
Guest guest
Hi Aikya, The numbers displayed are not exactly an accurate representation of the number of people present. I would give an educated estimate of 60% of that number actually present. Jai Ma, Jyotsna Aikya Param <aikya wrote: To me it didn't seem like 6000. Hmmm. I must be getting used to a crowd that size. Guest guest
even if someone left without getting an actual hug, just being in AMMAs incarnated presence means that they got darshan.they got something just to behold HER form and see HER HUG OTHERS.that to me is an awsome contemplation.namah shivaya. >Sweta Mitzel <swetabc >Ammachi >Ammachi >Re: Re: 6000 Expected for Devi Bhava in San Ramon >Fri, 2 Dec 2005 09:29:40 -0800 (PST) > >Some people leave without using their darshan tokens. > >"E.
