....It all reminds me of my very favorite quote of Mother's I read in an old

"Amritanandam", now "Immortal

Bliss". Mother says, and I'm paraphrasing, "You children like to play

with Mother, but you don't know what Mother is

doing..Mother has to work from the inside and has to remove many

things. Sometimes this is very painful".

I'll try next week when I have time to find the exact quote. It will

give me an excuse to to through all of those

old Amritanandums...

Dear Prasadini ~ oh! what you wrote reminded me that, along with all my

other belongings that are in storage are all my copies of "Amritanandam." I

really want to read those again.

I haven't gotten around to subscribing to "Immortal Bliss" yet, but I will

.... maybe give that to myself for a Christmas present. : ) But yes,

sometimes you have to keep throwing it in the river again and again, but

eventually,

through Mother's grace it is washed away. Here is one of my river songs,

written in Oregon, on the banks of the Lazy River ... lots of healing done on

me

there. Blessings ~ Linda

Down to the River

1.

I’m going down to the river.

I’m going down to make myself whole.

I’m going to grow me some feathers.

I’m going down to heal my body and soul.

2.

I’m going down because I’m tired

of all the sorrow.

I’m going down to rid myself of the pain.

I’m going today; I’m not waiting

for tomorrow

to go down to the river again.

Chorus

So I’m going down, down,

down, down.

I’m going down, down,

down, down.

I’m going down

because I’ve nothing to hide.

So I’m going down, down

to the riverside.

3.

I’m going down to the water.

I’m going to wade in and feel the

ripples roll.

I will become the river’s daughter,

a child of the ebb and the flow.

4.

I’m going down because I hear the river speaking.

In my aching heart, I hear it call.

It sings to me of what I have been seeking,

And it tells me I am part of it all.

Chorus

And I’m going down, down,

down, down.

I’m going down, down,

down, down.

I’m going down

because I’ve nothing to hide.

So I’m going down, down

to the riverside.

5.

I’m going down to the river,

going to let the waves wash over me.

I will be both the gift and the giver

and make of myself a joyful melody.

Chorus

I’m going down, down,

down, down.

I’m going down, down,

down, down.

I’m going down

because I’ve nothing to hide.

So I’m going down, down

to the riverside.
