Guest guest
premarupa asked: Linda, can you travel in a car for 6 hours if someone else drives you? Dear premarupa, I can travel this if someone else drives, but we usually have to break it into two days or when I get wherever I am going I am crashed out in bed for a day. Right now it would depend on my hubby, and he is saving up his leave time so I can get to see Amma next year in Albuquerque. I guess, for the moment, seeing Amma again, even if I have to wait, is more important that using that time that is not my own anyway to go to satsang. I think that Adriane was right in suggesting I just continue to bring up to our little satsang here that we do some more devotional activities. If that should fail, then I will begin to have my own personal little satsang every week. I know what to do...perhaps watch a movie about Mother, chant the 108 names, sing a bhajan or two, and then do the arati. These are the basics, are they not? If I have left something out, I hope someone will let me know. And now I have the Sri Lalitha Sahasranama CD with the words in the Archana book. I think the lesson, as Kitchu discovered, is to find Amma where we are, whatever circumstances we may be in. I still have a long way to go. But I am very grateful.
