Namah Shivaya,

The devotion of my sisters and brothers is incredible. I could only

wish to have an iota of that sweet devotion. Thank you so much for

sharing the ways you keep connected with Mother. I really need

discipline. I keep asking Mother for it, and some day it will come.

Adriane, I love your suggestions, and I really need to have more of your

attitude - and to set aside a time for meditation. I recently read, or

someone on this list said that what we think is more important that what

we do. That the *intent* of an action is more important than the

outcome. So being with Mother within has to be more important than the

way we do it or how, etc.As I said, I have to overcome my laziness, and

self pity, which results in anger at my situation, and it snowballs. As

Linda says, we are where we are supposed to be. Mother has always said

that we have to accept. I am the one who goes kicking and screaming. Oh,

Mother has so much work to do on this one.

Swami Satyananda Saraswiti had such wonderful advice for you, Linda.

Thank you for passing that on.

We are so fortunate that we have a Guru who gives us so many ways to do

sadhana - and who isn't a stickler for detail. She even encourages us to

think about God on the toilet! I always thought that was rather funny,

and it shows Mother's very practical nature and her equal vision,

everything is all the same! And it allows us to think about God all the

time.

Kitchu, you said that perhaps you are alone to give you more time to be

with Mother. I think the times I have been alone for long periods of

time I have thought of Mother more. Krishna left the Gopis so they would

miss Him and seek Him inside. They saw everything as Krishna!

I used to hate Thanksgiving because it was another crazy family holiday.

Now I love it, because it reminds me to be thankful for everything, and

I wind up praying for everyone. So now, on the day before, the turkey is

not going in the oven (those poor birds!), but I will be giving thanks

to our Divine Mother for coming to us, and bringing us into Her. Oh,

what sweet bliss!

Speaking of turkeys, when we were in San Ramon we encountered a gaggle

(?) of turkeys - looked like wild ones, crossing the road in a suburban

area. There is still a lot of open space around there. Whoever they

were, they were so cute! There had to be about 15 of them.

We are so lucky to have this life and to know Amma as our Mother and

Saviour. So lucky!

Jai Jai MA!

Jai Jai Amma's children!

Prasadini
