Guest guest
Om Amriteswarye Namah: It saddens me to inform that our beloved Sister, long time member Snehalata (Dixie) Thacker has left her body. Dixie and I never met in the physical plane. Nevertheless I felt that my Spirit met her Spirit interacting through link space. Dixie graced this list with her exquisite posts. She was a great Devotee, English Teacher, wife, mother and Amma's darling daughter. Here is the post from her husband Ron Thacker. Friday, November 11, 2005 8:02 PM Dixie George, Dixie passed away this Thursday morning. She put up a valiant fight but finally grew too weary to continue. She died in her childrens hands. I'm already missing her more than I could ever imagine. Would you please notify the group and offer your prayers. With Love, Ron Reported by Chitanand (GeorgeSon) P.S. Guest guest
Namaste, All I can say is this child is so sad. I always thought Snehalata would bounce back. But as someone said, "what is born must die". After all, this life is but a stop along the way. I certainly will miss her, and my prayers will be with her and her family. I'm sure she is in Mother's arms right now. Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya, I feel so sad, but also feel it's such a gift, that Snehalata shared her "near death" experience with Mother. Even though she isn't attending Amma's U.S. tour, she's surely receiving Amma's darshan on a subtler plane. My heart really goes out to her husband. Guest guest
I'm trying to picture Dixie. Was she a short stock woman and she used an oxygen tank? (No offense intended but that image comes to mind.)
