Dear arunkmen ~ it certainly seems like a trial that Kerala is communist

controlled. I'm not sure I understand it, when the rest of India seems not to

be, or perhaps I just don't know.

Last night I saw a very disturbing news story on tv about the communist

occupation of Tibet.

It was not enough that the communists destroyed many temples, killed monks,

and drove the Dalai Lama out of this most sacred country, but now they have

imported many individual Chinese people that are changing the Tibetan culture

from the inside out by creating Chinese shopping malls, grocery stores,

exercise programs, etc. And even when some traditional aspect of Tibetan

culture is

exercised, like a public spiritual program, they must first have a display

of the local communist military in duck marching formation. It hurts my heart

to see this ancient primal culture being systematically wiped out.

 

I do know that the communist party in Kerala gave Amma some difficulty in

realizing Her dream of rebuilding homes. They would not let Her rebuild the

number that she wanted. And now this attempt to destroy the University. What

will be next? The Hospital? Her other educational programs? Do you have any

suggestion of what we who are not in Kerala can do? Do they have elections in

Kerala? I would be interested in hearing your further thoughts on this. Jai Ma ~
