I seem to remember some time ago that a list member posted regarding

panchakarma at

Amritapuri, and it kind of backfired, if I am correct. I am under the

impression that a

person has to have a pretty strong constitution to tolerate it. So I

would proceed with

caution.

Dear Prasadini ~ from the description that faintglow gave of this treatment,

I am fairly definitely sure my body would not tolerate it. Originally, I was

under the impression that panchakarma was the name of a clinic at the

hospital. LOL So you can probably imagine my horror at reading fg's

description.

There is probably some other ayurvedic treatment that would work better and not

be so invasive. This body has been frightened for a very long time, so I

have to treat her with tender kid gloves. Thank you for your good input.

Blessings ~ Linda
