I know of a relative right now, who is on a sinking ship, with some undiagnosed, possibly liver, ailment. He has sworn by nature cure for much of his life, and it has kept him in good trim upto his present age of 75, but things are now taking a turn for the worse. He will not consent to so much as a blood test, so it is not even possible to know exactly what is going on. I know it is unlikely that people from the West would be that radical in their pursuit of nature cure but still, just a caution... Dear fg ~ thanks for bringing me up to speed on your actual whereabouts. I don't have a degree in karmanometrics either. : / Sounds like an interesting subject to pursue, though. Actually, I am the last, well probably not the last, but somewhere in the middle, person who would throw caution to the wind in terms of western medicine. My belief has always been, call the shaman and the doctor. : ) So far western medicine hasn't helped much with my various ailments, but neither has Oriental Medicine, Accupuncture or supplements, except a few select ones that my body doesn't have a hissy fit over taking. I guess I am hoping that there is some way to stop the decline, or putting it another way, the worsening of my symptoms. Dr. Vasant Lad, an ayurvedic doctor in Albuquerque, has been recommended to me, and at some point, probably next year, if I can get someone to take me there, I'll go see him. Or perhaps combine a trip to see Amma when She comes to Santa Fe again with a trip to the good doctor. And I will check out that blog site you gave me.
