I had no idea that Lakshmi performed with Geoffrey. They are practically bandmates. Geoffrey Gordon's picture is on Lakshmi Devi's website. As for synchronicity, this group has been discussing Krishna Das. Geoffrey Gordon was very prominent in KD's first album. Geoffrey played 4 or 5 instruments on KD's debut album in 1996. There are hundreds of performers playing clubs in Marin County. What are the odds of connecting Geoffrey to Lakshmi at random? What compelled me to pursue Lakshmi Devi? That unseen hand? Dear GeorgeSon ~ it is really incredible, all these synchronicities, but from what I have been experiencing, just with people on the digest, nothing would surprise me. Our Mother can weave the threads to bring people and events together at just the right time ... among other things She does. : ) I don't know if I have KD's first album. I have "One Track Heart" and "Live On Earth." I can't tell from the way the CDs are listed on his site which one is the first. I would be very grateful if you could provide the title of that one. The unseen Hand, sometimes gentle as a Mother's touch, lovingly weaves together people and circumstance. The unseen Hand, sometimes with the strength of Kali, shoves us this way and that, connecting us, shaking up our illusions. The unseen Hand sometimes presses our buttons, revealing all our reactions so we can see more clearly. The unseen Hand points the way to Lokah Samustha Sukino Bhavantu' the path to and the presence and reality of true peace. The unseen Hand holds faltering airplanes aloft, smoothes troubled brows, lovingly touches the heart of someone in need. The unseen Hand coordinates the reality of this maya as a great orchestra director keeps the music beautifully flowing. The unseen Hand is a sweet, strong, gentle Hand. Many have felt it's touch, many have seen the face of it's user, and looked into the eyes of infinity. Jai Jai Ma ~ Linda
