Guest guest
I pulled this list from an old file I made during my early New Age/Metaphysics days. Wording in the translations can vary, so check them out to your heart's content. The list was compiled 8-9 years ago, and may be incomplete as it was probably something I did in my free time back when I actually had free time. There may be more Con references, since that was at the bottom of my notes, and I may have stopped there. Check out www.blueletterbible.org Click on the "V" button next to the verse to see the other translations. PRO's 1 Cor 10:15 "I speak to you as sensible people, JUDGE for yourselves what I say." 1 Cor 2:15 "The man who has the Spirit is able to JUDGE everything, but no one is able to JUDGE him." 1 Cor 3:15 "The peace that Christ gives is to be the JUDGE in your hearts; for to this peace God has called you together in the one body. And be thankful." 1 Cor 11:13 "JUDGE for yourselves, is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered?" Luke 12:57 "And why do you not JUDGE for yourselves what is right?" CON's Romans 14, numerous references Luke 6:37 "Stop judging others, and you will not be judged. Stop criticizing others, or it will all come back on you. If you forgive others, you will be forgiven." 1 Cor 4:3-5 MISC reference 1 Cor 14:24 (refers to being judged if you go and listen to a prophet and they're wrong) This is the best of what I could make of that verse. As Swami P would say it, these references are like Amma's "Grace of Contradictory Advice". tom
