Guest guest
As I understand it, all Gurus say that they do not see themselves as superior to the disciples. They all say that these differences in gradations exist only from the standpoint of the disciples, not from that of the Guru. In one of the books, Amma clearly says that the one who thinks that he or she is enlightened, while the others are lost in ignorance has a long way to go. Given these and other similar statements, here are the different options for us to choose: The differences truly exist, and the Guru is lying The differences truly exist, and the Guru is ignorant The differences don't exist, the Guru is knowledgeable and truthful, and all discussions on the levels of attainment of different people are meaningless Labd Ammachi, "thozhan29" <thozhan29> wrote: > > we dont have the capacity to measure the greatness of a GURU... > > what we can do is we can analyse ourself and found whetther we are > following our path correctly.. > > yeaterday night i analyse my self and found i am not a perfect > deciple... > yes..when i see amma i get some energy..good thoghts fill my > heart...but after some time i lost my energy and i have to meet her > again to rechage myself... > i am living near amritapuri...since she is now not here i miss her > lot..and unable to recharge... > > but a true deciple should see every thing as guru,,and see guru in > every thing.... > i will try to do it...i will visit ashram soon to celebrate my > discovery about myself..... >
Guest guest
we have got a great guru..lets follow amma sincerly....incomplete deciples like me wasting time on discussing who is great guru..... but what is important is our TRUST and FAITH on guru...once i wasted time on arguing with others to show amma is great guru....now i realised its not needed......my faith on my guru will make me perfect....thier faith on their guru make them perfect....no need of arguing who is great guru....instead we must analyse wether v r good deciples or not.... .....let me share a beautiful incident from bible................... "A large crowd followed and pressed around jesus. And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind Him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, `If I just touch His clothes, I will be healed.' Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering. At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from Him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, `Who touched my clothes?' `You see the people crowding against you,' His disciples answered, `and yet you can ask, "Who touched Me?"' But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and knelt at His feet, and trembling with fear, told Him the whole truth. He said to her, ..****..`Daughter, your faith has healed you.****..... Go in peace and be freed from your suffering'" (MAR 5:25-34). watch carefully.......... jesus did not say i healed u..nor god healed...he told ur faith healed u.... yes,,,.that faith is important.....that much 100% faith i will try to attain......and i am still incomplet ....as my sister linda , nierikasong said i will analyse myself every night before mysleep..and remove my mistakes.... diwali wishes to all....i will be happier if any brothers, sister or freinds come to india to cleberate with us....you are coordially welcome.......
