Amma & Shree met

In the early days, Amma and even gurus of other ashrams I'v met, take

their disciples on pilgrimages to see other "holy people". (Big

deal...) I also know of someone spiritually famous who at first

bragged to me he was asked to be Amma's "bodyguard" for a tour stop,

and then told his followers, that he doesn't go to see anyone who sits

higher than him (hard to see Amma if she's not above everyone). So I

guess that's why I haven't seen him around at darshan. Sitting lower

is a sign of respect, like in the samurai days. Sometimes Amma makes

up a reason for Her to be somewhere or with someone, so they can get

personal time with Her as grace.

I'd love to hear the details of their encounter, as Shree Maa seems to

name-drop Paramahamsa Ramakrishna as her guru and Amma's devotees claim

Amma is a re-incarnation of Ramakrisna and Sarada Devi combined.

Anything's possible, but...

I just don't see the "reflection" of Ramakrishna's teachings in Shree

Maa the way they are in Amma's. The couple of Swamiji and Shree Maa,

as I do respect them and undertand Swamiji to be a great scholar of the

Chandi Path, etc.: in my experience, their followers are typical of

too-isolated too-close-knit groups that have incomplete gurus, causing

separation among devotees of other gurus, and encouraging ignorance.
