I promised to scan it and post it here, but my friend moved across town, put it in a box, and hasn't been able to find it. One of these days it'll turn up and I'll post it. Guest guest
Namah Sivaya I have this photo of Amma and Shree Maa embracing as well. In Shree Maa's biography by Swamiji, it says that Amma wanted to go and visit Shree Maa when she was in California. Anyway, Shree Maa is a beautiful, divine soul. If she couldn't sing a note on key, a wouldn't change my mind about her divinity. Guest guest
I will try to get my friend Lynda, who has the technology and know how in these matters to do this for me. However, it might take a week or two before I'm able to do this. Lisa Ammachi, "Rick Archer" <rick@s...> wrote: > > Maybe you could scan and post it? Guest guest
Of course, the whole universe is a divine incarnation in a way. I saw Shree Ma only once, even though she is so close to where I live. It was in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco where Swamiji was performing a yagna on a weekend day. It attracted crowds of the curious. A flock of American female devotees in white blouses and skirts with red borders on the skirts and red neckerchiefs (a sort of American version of the traditional Bengali sari), sang pleasant songs in English every now and then. At one point a very celestial verse began to sing a wonderful song in English in which the devotee depends on Divine Mother like the child holding on to the skirt of his/her mother's garment. It was the very first song I had ever heard to Divine Mother and was thrilling to me. The crowd of ladies in red and white parted for a moment and very tiny Shree Ma was revealed. Friends of mine have told of being healed by Shree Ma and having benefited by her guidance. She surely seems to be devoted to her American children.
