Dear Tom ~ I have received several emails about Amrita TV, and I still don't

understand it. Will it be available to everyone, wherever they are in the

world? Will it be a webcast tv? Being asked outright for $1,000 was the first

time I ever had a gulp of hesitation regarding Amma's charities. Up until

now, Her work has been characterized by volunteer workers and donations, and

even for the tsunami, there was on online auction of may items used or worn by

Amma, blessed by Amma, or just things from the ashram or donated by people. I

participated in this, and was very happy with the several things I won. Yet it

was, after all, completely voluntary; we were told of the auction, but no

one was asked to participate or donate.

 

$1,000 is an impossibility for me as I am living on a disability income.

This is the first time I am aware of that devotees have been asked to donate a

specific amount of money, and I have to say it makes me a bit uncomfortable.

Also, to be asked for such a large sum of money when efforts are being made to

raise money to help those struck by all the disasters that have been

happening also seems a little odd to me. Am I the only one who feels this way?

THERE ARE SO MANY WONDERFUL THINGS TO FOCUS ON AS FAR AS AMMA AND HER

ORGANIZATIONS GO.THIS IS JUST A TEST OF FAITH FOR US.DONT WORRY ABOUT WHAT

YOU CAN DO.DO WHAT YOU CAN AND LET IT GO.WHEN YOU COME TO A STUMBLING BLOCK

LIKE THIS ,JUST KEEP PRAYING AND KEEP SURENDERING IT TO MOTHER.IT WILL ALL

WORK OUT.IT ALWAYS DOES SOME HOW DOESNT IT?EVERY TIME YOUR MIND CREEPS

IN.SURRENDER IT AGAIN AND AGAIN.WE DONT HAVE TO UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING THAT

IS HAPPENING.KEEP PRAYING FOR THIS WORLD.LOVEYOU.
