I am hoping someone may offer some advice to a newbie Amma traveller! I have never been to Michigan, and this will be the first time I will actually be flying to see Mother. I had my first retreat here in Marlborough, MA this past July and am desperately going to try to get to the Michigan retreat with very little $$$$. So, my questions: Are airfares to Michigan astronomical around Thanksgiving? How far are the programs from the airport (do we need a rental car)? Is the Michigan retreat huge or more intimate in your opinion? Any advice on travelling from the East Coast to Michigan to see Amma is greatly appreciated!!
