Dear loved ones,

Thank you all so much for the outpouring of understanding about my dismay

about Cassie eating my Amma Doll. I'm not sure if I posted that, after the

first day, finding only the stuffing and the clothes, the next day, I went in

and

Cassie was on the bed with my Amma doll (she had done a very good job of

hiding the doll), with one leg and one arm chewed off. I picked up the doll,

hugged Her, cried some more, and perhaps, if I can make it to San Ramone, the

Amma Doll maker/fixer can repair Her. If not, my hubby is going to make a

prosthetic leg, and I will dedicate my Amma Doll to all who are suffering from

loss of limbs or loss of use of limbs. But all your kind comments (and thank you

for disagreeing with my sister about the funeral idea) really were a healing

balm to my heart, just as my Amma Doll always has been.

Amma's Love spreads in many ways, even through apples (a reference to

Adriane's story).

Love to you all ~ Linda
