Guest guest
This idea has been tossed around for years but there are problems with it that can't be overcome so easily. The Tour program directory is a mini version of this sort of idea. - Jill Mijanovic Ammachi Monday, September 26, 2005 2:30 PM Amma's List Om Namah Sivaya! I was wondering how we could improve networking amongst Amma's followers world-wide and what came to me was the following: Lets create a website like Craigslist. We could call it Ammaslist.com or something similar. With this new site, all followers and friends of Amma can have a place to turn to when they're looking for housing, jobs, services, astrology, dating... Each major city in the US, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia... can have its own sub-link so that as Amma's devotees move/travel around the world, they'll have no problem finding what they're looking for. How do others feel about this? In Amma, Jill Mail - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005 Aum Amriteswarayai Namaha! a.. Visit your group "Ammachi" on the web. b.. Ammachi c.. Guest guest
If people would use it, it would be a great idea. Making the horse drink is the tricky part. Guest guest
Namah Shivaya Jill, I love this idea -- I think such a site would be fantastic. Of course, maintaining Craigslist is a full-time job for Craig. I wonder how that part might be handled. Also, would we need to ask permission from Amma or M.A. Center as a first step? Guest guest
You most likely would, depending on how you set it up and I can almost assure you that the answer would be no. I also think it is a great concept but I understand the cons of it as well and the ashram board's reservations. - Linda Puckett Ammachi Monday, September 26, 2005 7:05 PM Re: Amma's List Namah Shivaya Jill, I love this idea -- I think such a site would be fantastic. Guest guest
Maybe we could just ask Craig if we could get ammaslist.craigslist.com.
