Dear Linda,

I think that Anansathree was talking about the wrist malas like Mother

wears. If she wasn't I was.

There I go assuming again! Anyway, what I was talking about is the

elastic-like stuff like Stretch

Magic.

The metal strung malas can be a problem, and the only solution would be

to put it on wire, as you said.

The other solution would be to not stress the wire by sleeping in it.

For the wire wrapped malas

the wire should be thick and strong enough not to break, and it would be

handy to have a

devotee mala wire wrapper living next door, always ready to fix your mala.

But I really think that not sleeping in a wire wrapped mala, and using

strong wire helps a lot.
