Dea Jyotsna,

Sylmar is in southern CA, & I live in northern, CA. But, if he feels up to

reading, COL cards & letters could be sent to him. I hope someone who lives in

southern CA responds to your request.

Hi All,

Last summer in LA, I met Timothy Holbert, who took a

mantra from Amma. He was suffering from brain cancer,

and walked with difficulty. (His name is on our prayer list.)

I was so touched by his innocence and pain that I promised

to contact him after the tour. I talked to him today. He's

been in the hospital for several weeks and is now on a feeding tube.

He says he spends most of his days crying.

Is there anyone on this list who lives near Sylmar, CA and is

possibly interested in visiting Timothy? If so, please

contact me off-list.

Thanks in Amma,

Jyotsna

Perhaps this request can be forwarded to a southern CA

satsang. I can look into that.

Namah Shivaya, Sweta,

Yes, I'm sure he'd like cards and letters, and I was going to send his

info to Aikya. Also, he told me last summer, he'd like some bhajan

tapes (no cd player) to listen to. I'm sending a few, but if anyone else

wants to send any tapes, that would be great, also.

Love,

Jyotsna

Namah Shivaya,

My understanding last summer when I spoke with him was that

his family has pretty much abandoned him, and a friend is allowing

him to live in a trailer on the friend's property. I don't think he has

any money. I could be wrong, but that's what I understand. He

told me the Sylmar hospital is his "home away from home." He

actually lives in Littlerock, CA.
