To bring through the energy of the dream as much as possible, I made a painting of the blessing which you can see here http://www.maxdashu.net/deasophy/guanyin.html Dear Max ~ Wow! I am speechless. For some reason, the link you sent me to this site, off line never worked, but this one in the digest did. So, I was finally able to see all you're beautiful artwork, and, as another artist myself, all I can say is I am deeply humbled and very impressed. What beautiful art! I wonder if you would consider putting the picture of Laksmi in the Art folder in the photos section of our Page. I am really trying to encourage all the artists in the digest to put images of their sacred art in the folder. At this point, there are only two pieces. Aikya too has done some wonderful art, but I was not able to move it into the folder, but it is in the photos section. You know, I know, that, for so many cultures, art, spirituality and life were all one and not separated. It was in the Western art tradition where these ties were severed (perhaps, in some cases, to the advance of wonderful new types of art, but also,I feel to the detriment of our overall society). It has been a lifelong quest for me to bring these together again, and you have done it with your art. I will write more of this off-digest. I checked it before sending, it did on my compu, but others have also had problems. I'd be glad to put it in photos section, just don't know how. Will try to figure it out when i get back from a trip, leaving soon. thanks for your good words! i agree about western culture and art. And dance, music, drum, and much more! blessings, max -- Max Dashu Suppressed Histories Archives Global Women's History http://www.suppressedhistories.net
