Guest guest
Here's one from the Persian mystic Hafiz .... Think of suffering as being washed. that is to say, Hafiz, you are often completely soaked and dripping... and from Rumi Don't grieve when the judge demands your evidence. Kiss the snake so that you may gain the treasure. That harshness isn't toward you, O child, but towards the harmful qualities within you. When someone beats a rug, the blows are not against the rug but against the dust in it. and Something opens our wings Something makes boredom and hurt disappear Someone fills the cup in front of us We taste only sacredness. May that moment come for all who are suffering... jai Maa Max -- Max Dashu Suppressed Histories Archives Global Women's History http://www.suppressedhistories.net
