Hi Prasadini,

Hi Max...you drew that painting of Quan Yin?

Its great...I have never heard of Healing Quan Yin until now.

Thanks.

By the way...Amma is my Quan Yin. For those who are familiar with

Quan Yin (who is the representation of compassionate aspect of

Buddhism),

you will find many similarities between Quan Yin and Amma.

Amma Bless

It _is_ a bumpy ride! I have been through many health problems too,

and one long phase was Lyme disease, in repeated bouts. Just to let

you know, because it didn't seem possible to me at the time, I

recovered completely.

The first glimmer of hope came in a dream in which I was going

through a dark tunnel and saw something bright in the dirt. I picked

it up, and it was an ivory amulet of Quan Yin, shimmering with

iridescence. Then I knew that healing could happen. To bring through

the energy of the dream as much as possible, I made a painting of the

blessing which you can see here

I have become a big believer in crying to Kali through various

illnesses, it really breaks through and releases the negativities,

mental fixations, and has been very healing. Amma and many other

sages have recommended this. Sri Ramakrishna counsels us to "cry out

to Kali Ma with a real cry" and "Weep and dive deep... You absolutely

must dive. Then you will be able to experience the unimaginable

abundance of divine grace that is always present."

many blessings to you,

Max

Thanks Donn. As for Healing Quan Yin, there may very well be

traditions along those lines but this is just what I call this image,

what the dream meant for me. What is interesting to me is that

although this goddess/boddhisattva is very popular, I was not

particularly into her. But I think she appeared in the dream because

the message was about the Mother's compassion, which Quan Yin

embodies so beautifully.

Hi Max...Once my wife showed a picture of Quan Yin to Amma,

Amma laughed and blessed the picture.
