I want to chant Hanuman Chaleesa. Can anyone give me some more

information on this? Has Amma herself said anything about Hanuman

Chaleesa? Any other tips?

Thanks in advance.

It is a great and powerful and fun chant. They have chanted it at both

Amritapuri and M.A. Center. I love it and am a big believer in it. It helps in

so many ways, especially to overcome difficulties in one's life.

Here is an MP3: http://www.astrojyoti.com/hanumanchalisa.htm

Btw, this is a great site. It's got tons of stotras. Unfortunately, you used to

be able to

download them, but it looks like you can't now, even though you can listen

online.

Awaken Children, Vol VII, p. 204, in a larger section titled "The Importance

of Feminine Qualities in a Seeker," Amma says:

"In Hanuman, the great devotee of Lord Rama, one can find a beautiful

blending of both masculine and feminine qualities. He did everything in the

name of Rama, his beloved Lord, and he took no credit for anything. Even

though Hanuman succeeded in doing very difficult tasks, he was never proud

of any of his feats. On the contrary, he remained the humble and obedient

servant of his Master, Lord Rama.'Not by my power and strength, but by Lord

Rama's Grace,' was always Hanuman's attitude."
