Oh for the passion of an innocent devotee........I was there and still have to put a lid on my utopian dreams ......of having Mother in every home in the world......followed visits to corporate board rooms and governmental offices visits. She is plucking them one by one........ And I feel so happy to have been in her lap !!! thanks for listening to my foolish dreams Dear Amritavarshini ~ from where I sit, which, granted is nowhere near were you really are, you do have the passion of an innocent devotee. Recently, in an email, I was recounting to Arunji a play we had put on for Amma during one of Her Washington, DC visits. I won't go into it here, except to say that it was about Her early life, and the most darling child of a devotee played Krishna. He was dark-skinned, so not a far stretch to "see" blue, and he had a crop of the most adorable black curls. In the play, he wore a peacock feather in his head. Another child played Amma's vision of Devi, and I will never forget the unselfconscious way she drifted across the stage, reaching up as if to caress a leaf here and there. The innocent beauty of these children was spellbinding, and I guess this may be somewhat close to what Amma means when She says we should be like little children. Part of the innocence of children is having dreams ~ simple dreams, "easy" dreams, "hard" dreams, outrageous dreams. Your dreams are never foolish Amritavarshini ... who knows what you envisioned may one day happen, and imagining you call Hershey to ask for them to donate kisses is such a wonderful picture. Too bad for his cocky attitude, but how wonderful for your innocent dream. Jai Jai Ma ~ Linda
