In an way, it reminds me of when I was in school (grade school, middle school, high school) where I was terrified to ask a question because people would think I was stupid, or afraid to sit in the front because people would think I was a "brown noser." Thank goodness, by the time I got to college, I had let go of those two ideas. There was no better place (to hear, and see and learn) than the front of the room, and I didn't give a hoot if my question would seem stupid or not; I asked it anyway. Needless to say, I got a lot more out of college than I did out of the entire previous portion of my life as a student.
