Guest guest
Dear Christopher ~ Namaste, quote from vallantkumar's post:~~~~~addressed to Chris ~~~~~~~~~~~ "Where the hell do you get the idea that (1) this is a satsang, not a debate group and (2) what constitutes a satsang? Just because you have been used to the milk-and-water "Ammachi is so wonderful" stuff doesn't make you decide what should be posted. Heck, start your own stupid Ammachi group if you want, moderate it any way you want, and exclude whomever. This is not just your group. So get over it." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I would not choose those words nor do I agree 100% with above. But, hey! Is this not the type of "tough love" you are offering to Avram. I read the above( obviously some good points ) and got a chuckle at the diversity of this group. Look Chris, I don't feel either of you needs to leave. Stick around, ignore the posts that don't appeal to you and see if those that do serve you in an inspirational, seva-opportunities, etc way. We have a good moderator ~ trust him and the rest of us. You will find this a diverse group not only of bhaktas but jnanis, sevaks, meditators, etc. I myself am 50% bhakta, 50% jnani, 5%seva, 10% meditator, etc. I wish I was 100% seva because if done correctly it contains all the rest ~ there is an Amma quote on this. But that is another story. om, amarnath "Humility will come as one progresses in sadhana. Humility means seeing God in everything or perceiving one's own Self everywhere. Humility means accepting the Will of the Supreme." - Ammachi, Awaken Children, Vol.4, p49 (0054) "To share your ideas about the satsang is all right. But to enter into a dispute about it, and adamantly say that what you felt is the only correct interpretation is wrong, totally wrong. By doing this you are narrowing your mind." - Ammachi, Awaken Children, Vol.4, p42 (0052)
