What can we all do to look forward to have a positive impact on the world? What can we do to alleviate the suffering at hand? This is a crisis facing us now and we must rise to the occasion. I know we can and I know we will. Let's keep our lines of communication open and share ideas as we have been doing. We have a big road ahead of us and we must be ready to start walking on it. Dear Adriane ~ I really felt a kinship with what you wrote. I also enjoyed the bit of wry humor you included. I think what you say applies equally well to how we address something "outside" the group, such as the hurricane, as to how we address something "inside" the group, such as the ongoing discussion about whether a certain person should leave or be asked to leave. C'mon brothers and sisters ... we are none of us perfect, at least I am not. I might have an opinion and hope I would always feel free to express it here. I hope for the same freedom for all of us here. To me the quote put in by amarnath says it all: "To share your ideas about the satsang is all right. But to enter into a dispute about it, and adamantly say that what you felt is the only correct interpretation is wrong, totally wrong. By doing this you are narrowing your mind." - Ammachi, Awaken Children, Vol.4, p42 Amma Herself is asking us to not waste our time in judging another. Let's roll up our sleeves and do what we can to help. Jai Ma ~ Linda
