what about biloxi etc?

The other thing that puzzles me is that all the attention seems to be on new

orleans.. i wonder if even with new orleans there was so much delay in sending

help, what about biloxi or other villages nearby that were also destroyed? there

could be many there too who are in desperate need..

Ah, Rick ~ this does not surprise me at all. What is he thinking when he

does these things? More so, are not his "handlers," and the people around him

thinking. At the very least, they must know how bad this type of behavior looks.

One would think he would be better advised. On the other hand, I once worked

for a political spouse who I see now as being much like Bush. You could

advise her until the cows came home, and she did exactly what she wanted

anyway,

which was sometimes not to the best advantage of the goals of our efforts.

 

And meanwhile, I keep hearing, "Riding on the City of New Orleans," playing

over and over in my head.

I agree with you completely, Bala. I think that people are focusing on

NOLA because of the flood and it being so desparate there with bodies

floating around and rats and all. My favorite vacation town, Biloxi,

has been leveled to the ground. It breaks my heart.
