God: God is the substratum of everything. Love flourishes from faith

in God. From love flows the sense of righteousness (dharma), justice

and peace. We should be as eager to sympathize with others' sorrows

as we are to apply medicine to our own burnt hand. This can be

achieved through full faith in God. - Ammachi, For My Children, p39

And now here is my secret, a very simple secret;

it is only with the heart that one can see rightly,

what is essential is invisible to the eye.

~Antoine de Saint-Exupery~

Love is patient, love is kind.

It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

It is not rude, it is not self-seeking.

It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth.

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails.

~Bible~ I Corinthians 13:4-8

There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer;

no disease that enough love will not heal;

no door that enough love will not open;

no gulf that enough love will not bridge;

no wall that enough love will not throw down;

no sin that enough love will not redeem...

It makes no difference how deeply seated may be the trouble;

how hopeless the outlook; how muddled the tangle; how great the

mistake.

A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all.

If only you could love enough you would be

the happiest and most powerful being in the world...

~Emmet Fox~

"To share your ideas about the satsang is all right. But to enter

into a dispute about it, and adamantly say that what you felt is the

only correct interpretation is wrong, totally wrong. By doing this

you are narrowing your mind." - Ammachi, Awaken Children, Vol.4, p42

Brings back memories (YICKKK!!) as another school year

is about to begin, or may have already begun in those

jurisdictions that start classes before Labor day. I

remember reading St-Exupéry's "Le Petit Prince" in

high school French class some 30 years ago and I

utterly detested that book. The above quote was

drilled into my teenage psyche ("on ne voit bien

qu'avec le coeur; l'essentiel est invisible aux

yeux"). BTW, St-Exupéry was killed in a plane crash in

1944. I believe the Gestapo shot him down.

Paul Simon hit the ol' nail right on the head :) "when

I think of all the crap I learned in high school, it's

a wonder I can think at all"!

Keval

(extracting the tongue from my cheek!)
