Guest guest
om santi, dear chris, i think it will be a shame if avram leaves this group as he said he would so that you don't have to. i think he needs the opposite of what you( we ) are offering. i think you( we ) are passing up a chance of real seva right in front of your( our ) nose. just my opinion. i too may have contributed inappropriately by not replying with enough love to avram ~ i ask everyone's forgiveness. dharma cannot be dictated real dharma comes from pure love pure love tolerates quites a bit pure live is constantly self-sacrificing i think avram really loves amma a lot. and i know amma love avram. when avram says "has there ever been a year without bad?" we can reply "dear avram, has there ever been a year without any good?" you( we ) choose, may amma bless us and guide us, amarnath
Guest guest
Amarnath, you are speaking from my heart. Thank you for speaking out. Everyone who loves Amma should be welcome, no matter how they express themselves. Dharma cannot be dictated. Real dharma comes from pure love. Pure love tolerates quite a bit. Pure love is constantly self-sacrificing. Jai Maa!!! Jai Amma!!! Pahari Maa We don't have to think alike. We don't have to speak alike. We don't have to act alike. We just need to love our Divine Mother. He posts all the time at Amma free speech and I have had numerous discussions with him there. I believe that many of his posts are not appropriate for a satsang environment. maybe it is good for his wings to be clipped and to understand what is acceptable and what isn't. I don't think he needs to be pampered. Peace! Chris
Guest guest
It looks to me like you are the tough bird... very rigid and unforgiving. Guest guest
Please review Avram's posts and see if you agree with me. They aren't just mildly offensive. If you want this room to turn into a religious debate and political debate room, its your call. Guest guest
Hi Amarnath, This is very well said for Avram. I had sent a similar mail to Avram offline too this afternoon. But in due fairness to Chris, there is no need to put undue pressure on him if Avram decides to leave (he has already had to respond defiantly defensively to your post). The hard truth here is "for some jnani-types" (good-humored tongue- in-the-cheek phrase), it is really upto Avram to decide to reconcile or not after all that has happened. It is unfortunate, and I also feel bad that my defence started the comment from Mike about Avram which provided fodder for Avram's outburst. Let's all forget and forgive. Ammachi's pot of gems is working furiously on each other to polish the contents of the whole pot .... Jai Ma! Guest guest
It's not my call. That is just the point. No individual, except the moderator or Amma Herself, should make these decisions. I don't find Avram any more offensive than I find you. You are both human. You are both Amma devotees. Guest guest
This is OUR satsang. If you enjoy this kind of stuff, then tell the moderator you like it. If you agree with me that this type of posting is grossly inappropriate, ask the moderator to ask Avram to keep a lid on it. it is a boundaries issue. why get sentimental about it? > It's not my call. Guest guest
Namah Shivaya Divine Siblings, I cannot remain silent any more. I have tried to be silent on this topic since Friday night when this thread started. I have always admired Avram's honesty and openness. He does not tell others how to think.or what is dharmic or adharmic. He asks questions and does not make demands of others. I am very seriously thinking of leaving this group, because I cannot stand by and watch one person (Chris) attempt to set the tone for the rest of the group, sling accusations, use a scolding self-righteous tone to other group members, and single out members he does not happen to like.. I for one do not come to this satsang to witness the disharmony created by one agressive person. Jai Ma! Prasadini. Ardis Jackson wrote: >It's not my call. That is just the point.
